Walk the Labyrinth for Lent

flyer HERE

Upcoming Events

  • March 20, 2019
The Labyrinth is a walking meditation, a path of prayer and an archetypal blueprint where psyche meets Spirit. It has only one path that leads from the outer edge in a circuitous way to the center. It is a spiritual tool that can help you find your way. Walking the Labyrinth quiets the mind, opens the heart and grounds the body ... Some find answers to questions long asked, some find healing, creativity, a sense of wholeness ... What will you find on your labyrinth journey? The labyrinth will be available Mon – Fri., Mar. 18-22 and Apr. 8-12 from 11am-2pm and 6 -8 pm.  Call 718 229 2169 or email secretary.ccd@verizon.net for more information, or to schedule your walking time.

Isaiah 55:8-9

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Lent

Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, left the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,  where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. --Luke 4:1-2
