In The World But Not Of It

Christ’s kingdom work continues, but now we need to do the heavy lifting. In the waning days of the COVID pandemic, several corporate CEOs required employees to return to the office for at least a few days each week. Many employees were happy working remotely and wanted to be in the workplace but not “of the office.” That tension also exists in today’s church, where it resonates with Jesus’ discussion with the disciples about being “in the world but not of it.”
